Welcome to Ashenglow

Named for earth’s own blurry reflection, faintly visible on the disk of the new moon, Ashenglow gathers light from all round our planet through the lens of photographer (and scientist by day) Nathan Pearson.

Boston-based, Nathan grew up teething on film canisters and hip-deep in photo chemicals, in a family of avid photographers and film-makers. Their passion for visual exploration — as craft, art, and mode of insight — has made creating with light a way of self-expression to augment science’s more analytic wonders.

Traveling as life allows, Nathan brings a camera (or two) to help get to know, create in harmony with, and share understanding of more of our planet and those who share it. Works for sale here mark that ongoing journey.

Our prints come on vivid, durable matte canvas, pre-mounted on internal wood frames to hang without the further fuss and cost of mats, glass frames, etc. Enjoy? Do reach out (admin [at] [our URL]), and join us on socials (@ashenglow), to connect, share, and celebrate human art!
