Named for the faint earthshine on an otherwise dark young moon, Ashenglow gathers and reflects the light of life all round our gorgeous planet.

Anchored in work from founding artist Nathan Pearson (a geneticist by day), we hope to gather visitors and artists to connect, create, absorb, and create anew (helping human art stay broader than AI built to eat our work and lunch :-).

Boston-based, Nathan grew up teething on film canisters, and hip-deep in photo chemicals, in a family of avid photographers and movie-makers. Their passion for visual documentation — as craft, as art, as way to insight — made the lens a portal for self-expression, to augment the analytic wonder of science itself.
